Job DescriptionWe are searching for an experienced Personal Banker to join our client in Westerville, OH! The Personal Banker provides financial solutions by explaining and cross-selling Credit Union products and services. This role involves performing transactions with minimal supervision, adhering to service standards, and traveling to other branches or assisting the Contact Center as needed.Position Details:
- Type: Direct Hire Opportunity
- Salary: $18.75 - $23.00/hour
- Schedule: Flexibility required to cover weekday shifts between 8 AM and 6 PM, and rotating Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM
- Location: In-office position

Essential Job Functions
- Assist members with consumer loan applications, coordinate closings, and prepare documents.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities based on Members' needs and existing loans.
- Process loans efficiently, including research and verification of employment.
- Open new accounts (Savings, Checking, IRAs, Trusts, Estates) and manage related documentation.
- Handle Home Equity Line of Credit files and second mortgage loans.
- Issue Instant Issue debit and credit cards.
- Manage closed accounts and assist with Notary or Medallion Signature Guarantee needs.
- Oversee cash management for ATMs and cash dispensing machines.
- Address fraud inquiries and assist with loan department questions.
- Provide backup support for the Contact Center and assist with branch operations.
- Mentor new Member Service Representatives.
- Fund and close consumer loans not secured by real estate.
- Process mail payments and provide MSR relief as needed.
- Act as backup for the Assistant Branch Manager.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Notary Commission and STAMP certification required.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience essential.
- Mortgage Loan Originator license preferred.
- Strong math, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work a varied schedule.
