Essential Duties: Demonstrate effective communication strategies and skills in order to respond to the needs, desires, and interests of all clients. Exihibit care, compassion, and patience at all times. Daily documentation and data entry to maintain client records/attendance/occurrences. Assist clients with meal preparation, use of commode or bedpan, changing linens and incidental household duties essential to client's health needs and companionship. Assist client in following physician's orders regarding medication, exercises, and prescribed procedures. Maintain predictable and regular attendance, work stated hours, communicate, comprehend and follow company and Day Center policies and procedures. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff. Willing and able to maintain continual yearly educational requirements (CEU's). Ability to satisfactorily perform all job responsibilities and meet the physical requirements. All employees must possess and maintain a Valid Ohio Driver's License, as well as the minimum auto insurance coverage for Ohio (must be able to provide proof upon request). When using your personal vehicle for work-related purposes, you are required to maintain valid insurance, and your personal insurance will be condisered the primary coverage in the event of any incident.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of caregiving and/or home health experience. High school graduate or equivalent. Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
