As a PERSONAL CARE AIDE you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the patient's home, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the patient. PERSONAL CARE AIDE Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Help residents with mobility by transferring and positioning them safely
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of residents' care and daily activities
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
- Assist with feeding residents and providing hydration
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare team members
PERSONAL CARE AIDE Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably long-term care or assisted living
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE VEHICLE & VALID DRIVER's LICENSE
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Must pass a background check
