DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following duties are representative of performance expectations. A reasonable accommodation may be made to enable a qualified individual with a disability to perform essential functions. Assist teacher in the management of student arrival and departure activities. Assist with the individual goals of students. Support learning experiences that will assist student academic success. Assist in the supervision of the students. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Maintain safety and welfare of students. Provide one-to-one assistance with academic and/or daily activities. Assist in student personal hygiene (may include changing diapers, assist in feeding, dressing or bathroom functions, cleaning face/hands). Assist in lifting/transferring. Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend/kneel while completing responsibilities listed previously. Other duties as assigned. THIS POSITION IS FULL-TIME, PERMANENT.
