Learn about a nursing career at RRH:#www.rrh.org/nurses What#s it like to work at RRH?:#Nurses | Kern County Hospitals JOB SUMMARY: Performs various non-medical care activities and related non-professional services in the client#s home; attendant care, activities of daily living and personal care, such as assisting with grooming and toileting, meal preparation and feeding, medication reminders, engaging client in activities, light housekeeping, and transportation needs: assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment. We provide our clients around the clock health care.# All staff members will be required to work one weekend a month. QUALIFICATIONS: 1.# High school graduate or equivalent, preferred. 2.# Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, and maintained. 3.# Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. 4.# Ability to write legibly, spell correctly and perform basic mathematics. 5.# Six months experience as a caregiver in home care preferred. 6.# Valid California driver#s license; proof of good driving record; automobile insurance coverage; access to a dependable vehicle for use in traveling to and from patient homes. 7.# Required to complete Live Scan.
