Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist clients with daily living activities and provide support that enhances the well-being of individuals who need assistance due to aging, disability, or other health issues.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
- Monitor and report changes in client's health, behavior, and needs to the supervisor or care coordinator.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; and certification in personal care assistance.
- Previous experience in personal care or related field preferred.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong dedication to client care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
