Must attend 16 hours in house training and shadowing sessions under direction of an R.N.This is a new program approved by the State of Florida. Eligible and successful applications may be able to challenge the CNA test upon completion of time.Duties /Responsibilities Include:- Make occupied/unoccupied bed- Pass Fresh Ice/water- Pass meals/set up trays for Resident- Check Resident Temps- Perform 1 person transfers- Reposition resident in bed/float heels- Transfer Resident to wheelchair using gait belt- Use gait belt to assist with ambulation- Oral Care/dentures (alert residents)- Provide a bed bath/perineal/catheter care- Change incontinent brief- Assist with hearing aids- Assist resident to bathroom or to the urinal (one person assist)
