Personal Care (PC) Administrator is responsible to carry out the day-to-day personal care operations. The PC Administrator establishes and directs overall operations of community activities, both internal and external in order to provide excellent care to our residents. The PC Administrator coordinates operations to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations. This role is also responsible for overall operations of Independent Living spaces.
Qualifications:- Current PC Administrator licensure from PA Department of Human Services
- Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 21 years of age or older
AND One of the following:
- Current RN license issued by the PA Department of State
- Current LPN license issued by the PA Department of State
- Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license issued by the PA Department of State
Responsibilities and Expectations:- Responsible for meeting or exceeding occupancy and mix goals
- Oversee clinical services to ensure the highest quality of care and satisfactory resident outcomes
- Accountable for the direction, coordination and supervision of all activities within the Health Center
- Responsible for the overall operations of the independent living spaces
- Responsible for the coordination of Independent Living services related to the 6 dimensions of Thrive Wellness
- Consults and meets with community personnel through Continuum of Care and Board of Review meetings on matters related to Independent Living residents and communicates with residents and families
- Collaborate on annual budget and fiscal control of the community to meet budget targets for Personal Care and Independent Living
- Develop positive relationships and are accessible to all residents, families, visitors and staff
- Make recruitment recommendations and decisions
- Participate in training, supervision and discipline of staff
- Complete performance evaluations for direct reports
- Act as a liaison between the community and all outside agencies
- Endorse community in positive way to the greater community
- Maintain and prepare records and reports as required by policies and regulations
- Ensure resident rights and smooth transition throughout community
- Act as a catalyst for quality improvement
- Perform daily rounding on residents and staff
- Promote effective marketing and public relations
- Remain compliant with all federal, state, local and corporate regulations
