The Associate Personal Injury Attorney will ultimately have the responsibility of independently managing all aspects of personal injury cases from inception to completion. You will work closely with the firm's partners, assisting on a variety of cases.Job ResponsibilitiesProviding an evaluation of claims, including a proposed litigation strategy Preparing pleadings, motions, discovery, and depositions Conducting legal research and analysis on various legal issues Reviewing policies, claims, and other records Negotiating settlements in the pre-litigation stage Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and contracts Prepare and review legal correspondence and documentation Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings Maintain accurate and organized case files Build relationships with clients; demonstrate compassion and empathy Marketing firm services in the community as requiredQualifications3–5 Years of Experience as a Personal Injury Attorney is required. Must be a Florida licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history. Florida licensed attorney in good standing with Florida Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney handling personal injury cases in Florida Must have knowledge of federal and state statues, court rules, forms, processes, and procedures that apply to personal injury practice in Florida Self-starter driven by long-term career goals Strong research and analytical skills Superior oral and written advocacy skills Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously Proven track record of maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethical conductAbout The CompanyOur client is an established, community-oriented firm with over 50 years of combined legal experience.
