Description A prominent plaintiff's law firm based in Hackensack, NJ, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal /Case Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate must possess 5-10 years of litigation experience. Previous litigation and personal injury experience are required andmedical malpractice experience is a plusCandidates without the required experience will not be considered. Responsibilities Including, but not limited to: •Setting up case structure, organizing case documents and calendar dates; •Preparing and filing legal documents including discovery requests/responses; •Researching expert witnesses and scheduling depositions; •Communicating with legal team members, clients, counsel, experts, and court; •Subpoena medical and other records; •Reviewing documents/medical records and preparing detailed summaries/chronologies. Qualifications •Self-starter who can work with little supervision, be extremely organized, and very detail-oriented; •Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize incoming work to meet deadlines; •Demonstrate a professional demeanor to problem-solve during busy times; •Follow through with minimal direction and take the initiative; •Treat others with respect and contribute to a positive team environment; •Knowledge of Trial pad and/or TrialWorks a plus; •Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and PDF conversion software. Excel and PowerPoint experience is necessary; •Knowledge of Local and State discovery rules; •Excellent verbal and written communication skills; •Organization skills and attention to detail.
