Description Seeking a dynamic Paralegal specializing in Nursing Home Neglect and Personal Injury cases at The Rizzuto Law Firm. Responsibilities include overseeing the proper initiation, progression, and follow-up of cases. Proficiency in creating legal documents such as pleadings, bills of particulars, and managing calendars is essential. Experience with transitioning Case Management Systems from Trial Works to Filed Vine is preferred. This position requires on-site work at our Uniondale office location. ResponsibilitiesYOU will be responsible for 4 things: •Client development - intake calls & follow-up with existing clients •Mastering our case management system •Meticulous follow-up for potential and existing clients •Manage a caseload with timely follow-up for records, discovery, and case documents There are 3 Essential Requirements to work with our team: •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment •Technologically Savvy - consultations, electronic filing, & Docu-Sign, you must be comfortable using technology •Must be comfortable being part of a high-performing team Qualifications •Experience handling personal injury matters from intake to trial preparation, preferably with both legal and paralegal qualifications •Proficiency in electronic filing •Exceptional communication and organizational skills •Previous management experience is highly desirable •Adept in negotiation techniques •Ability to drive the firm to higher levels of success
