Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Personal Injury Paralegal. The Personal Injury Paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of all pleadings, discovery, assist in motion and trial preparation, managing a caseload of of approximately 125 files independently, digesting Court Orders, communication with clients, and all court filings
Qualifications
- Ability to draft legal documents such as Notice of Claims, S&C, BOP, Discovery Demands and Discovery Responses
- Strong understanding of CPLR Procedure and Pleading, Discovery and Trial Preparation
- Excellent Communication skills
- Proficiency in Managing Case load of approximately 125 MVA, Premises, Construction and City Cases from inception to trial
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- At minimum 5 years Experience in Personal Injury Litigation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Expert use of Smart Advocate Software
