The Personal Lines Account Executive, under the direction of the Personal Lines Service Manager, positively impacts the Agency's reputation and revenue, wowing the customer by delivering exceptional service, proactively evaluating, advising and placing coverage to retain existing accounts and attract new accounts. The Personal Lines Account Executive works with Pinnacle and multi-policy accounts.

How You Make a Difference:

  • Conduct yourself in accordance with the provisions of the High Performance Team Contract.
  • Participate in client meetings as needed to evaluate current programs, market strategies, and coverage options.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships by promoting additional products, services, and coverage levels, including actively promoting TAP.
  • Design, present, and help clients implement sound insurance plans, providing referrals and recommendations for necessary lines of business along with risk management and value-added services.
  • Consistently deliver superior customer service by promptly responding to clients' needs, adhering to departmental renewal timelines, and meeting established expectations.
  • Seek referrals from the client base and follow through to write new accounts while rating, quoting, reviewing, and binding Personal Lines risks in compliance with underwriting authority and agency workflows.
  • Actively evaluate processes for potential streamlining, communicate findings to leadership, participate in seminars and classes to enhance skills, and engage in agency projects and slice teams to achieve agency goals.

How You Are Measured:

  • Support processes, procedures, and agency best practices while actively participating in all internal meetings relevant to your position.
  • Understand each client's decision-making process, including key individuals, their goals, issues, and how our performance aligns with their expectations.
  • Achieve a minimum of 94% client retention, striving towards 98%, and conduct thorough proactive reviews with Pinnacle accounts annually and other multi-policy accounts at least once every three years.
  • Proficient in using all IT programs and resources related to your position, leveraging technology and tools to enhance your efficiency and that of your team.
  • Serve as a model for behaviors and attitudes consistent with the Alera Group brand, demonstrating an understanding of how your work habits impact overall agency performance.
  • Seek professional development opportunities and feedback throughout the year to monitor your growth and enhance your skills.
  • Complete and review applications, renewal requests, and endorsements for compliance with underwriting authority and guidelines while being proactive in account management and maintaining thorough documentation.
  • BA/BS degree preferred, with an Insurance Producer License and personal lines account management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of markets, policies, and products, sharing expertise with peers.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong sense of urgency, problem-solving abilities, and proactive approach to challenges.

Salary range is $50,000 - 65,000 per year, based on experience.
