We are seeking a full-time Personal Lines Account Manager to be the main contact for our personal insurance clients and must maintain confidentiality, professionalism, confidence, and a customer first focus every day.
Successful candidates will have technical, administrative and organizational skills, the ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment, and to work independently as well as with the agency team.
Manage the entire renewal process.
Build rapport and relationships with our clients by providing exceptional customer service through proactive and responsive communication.
Apply knowledge of our carriers' products and offerings to provide the best fit for our clients' needs.
Conduct periodic policy reviews for accuracy.
Complete requirements and submit to Underwriters.
Prepare insurance proposals.
Update management system (AMS360) to ensure accurate, current client information.
Cross sell new lines of coverage to existing clients, past customers and personal contacts.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
License: Property & Casualty (NY)
Preferred Skills
Management & Rating Systems: Carrier rating systems, AMS360 / PL Rater - willing to train on both if familiar with another agency management system
