Overview

We are currently looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join a well respected client of ours in the Connecticut area. This client has offices in both Ridgefield and Stanford and is open to the new hire sitting in either office location. The PL Account Manager will provide excellent client service to an existing book, and provide education to clients on personal lines insurance options. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional that is passionate about building client relationships, making an impact, and helping drive better decision making around personal insurance options.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the team by managing a book of personal accounts, including marketing to carriers
• Help prepare quotes and proposals
• Responding to policy inquiries (email, phone)
• Maintaining renewal controls on expirations and binders
• Checking policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy, and maintaining accurate and organized account files
• Understanding customer needs and the products or services that can align with their needs
• Continuously develop and maintain productive business relationships with customers in order to increase access and sales results
• Stay current with database information and reporting
• Handle all accounts assigned to you as well as any other accounts that may need help

Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the US; Avenica is unable to provide sponsorship at this time
• Property and casualty license required
• 4-5+ years of insurance experience required
• High school diploma required
