Responsibilities:
- Reviewing New Business Policies, confirming the coverage received is as quoted and welcoming the new client to our client's agency.
- Processing annual renewals, endorsements, reinstatements and cancellations.
- Daily customer service needs, including billing inquiries, mortgage updates, vehicle changes, and coverage inquiries.
- Corresponding between the carrier and client's insurance needs, familiarizing oneself with the various carrier websites.
- Writing new business for umbrellas, watercraft and antique vehicles.
- Work closely with the Personal Lines remarketing team assuring the account is able to transfer to a new carrier. Also working with the Personal Lines producers.
Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a current P & C license, pursuing continuing education as mandated by the CT Insurance Department. Continuing professional development is strongly encouraged, which the agency pays for. Professional designations are a plus.
- Applicant must have strong technical skills with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook and experience with internal Management systems is a plus.
- Applicants must have a strong background in Customer Service and be comfortable with a Team Oriented work environment.
