Make a Positive Impact First State Insurance Agency is looking for driven and resourceful candidates to fill the role of Personal Lines Customer Service Representative. A successful Customer Service Representative will be a solution-oriented individual with demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a strong customer service focus. Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate ValuesProfessionalism
  • Engage with customers, colleagues and supervisors on the phone and in person with a high level of professionalism and respect
  • Maintain confidentiality in all dealings with clients and within the agency
Accountability
  • Review all activities/follow-ups daily and check all changes for accuracy
  • Review/Process all assigned documents within the prescribes processing times
Initiative
  • Prepare Renewal Information for producers and account manager on a timely basis (30 days prior to renewal)
  • Maintain accurate contact information for each client in management system
Adaptability
  • Prepares policy change requests online using email from AMS and create activity/follow-up
  • Works with Account Manager & Senior Account Manager in reviewing and updating all monthly reports distributed by accounting

Qualifications
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
  • Must possess or be willing to pass and maintain Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Must obtain and maintain professional designation relevant to the position.
  • 1 to 2 years industry specific experience preferred
  • Strong sense of punctuality & attendance
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Must obtain and maintain professional designation relevant to the role
