Job DescriptionThe Role: The Personal Lines Producer is a sales position responsible for driving new business growth of target clientele through various channels. In addition to cross-selling clients from internal company departments, this role is expected to establish additional wins through self-generated new business, referral systems, centers of influence and community engagement/interaction. Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieve new business sales goals on an annualized basis based
- Create positive synergy and pursue cross-selling opportunities with other practices to meet revenue growth targets
- Generate new business leads and volume
- Identify and explain coverage on a prospect-specific basis
- Effectively communicate solutions to a non-insurance buyer
- Utilize CRM to support the sales process- including input of accurate and timely information relative to first appointments, follow-up's etc.
- Develop and deploy sales/marketing strategies to optimize the company position in the marketplace
- Work collaboratively with the account management team
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 1-5 years of experience in insurance industry or relatable sales experience
- History of success
- Personable, initiative, driven and organized
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Outstanding presentation skills face-to-face and virtually
- Excellent organization and follow-up skills
- Excellent listening skills with a strong customer focus
- Good teamwork skills with an ability to work with minimum supervision
- College degree and current insurance licensing preferred
