POSITION SUMMARYThe Personal Trainers (PT) goal is to provide world class personal training service and programs. Personal Trainers are a vital connection to our members. Personal Trainers understand their role in retaining members, anticipating the members needs, and exceeding their expectations to help create raving fans.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESEXPECTED OUTCOMES
- Progressive goal setting for every client
- Exercise program design
- Monthly fitness assessments
- Knowledge of new fitness trends
EXERCISE PROGRAMMING
- Developing and providing personal fitness evaluations, individual cardiovascular and strength training programs while supervising the use of any equipment involved in the training routine
- Establishing and maintaining accurate, current documentation records for each member
- Developing and implementing safe and effective fitness programs
- Providing consistent, accurate, quality information to educate the members regarding health and fitness
CUSTOMER SERVICEMEMBER RETENTION
- Provide exceptional service to all All Sport members and guests
- Monitoring the fitness floor to help members achieve their goals
- Assisting and promoting club programs and events
- Soliciting and responding to member feedback regarding club or program activities and communicating the information to management
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with the maintenance of the fitness equipment
- Performing daily equipment cleaning as needed or directed
- Attending all scheduled Personal Trainer meetings
- Completing the required number of training sessions per week
- Must complete all paperwork in a timely fashion
- Completing on-going educational requirements for the job
WHAT WERE LOOKING FORSKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Certifications from one of the following: NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or AFFA
- Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology desirable
- Current CPR, First Aid and AED certification
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
