*This position commitment is based upon the needs of the Wellness Center* #Competitive Compensation# JOB SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements and evaluates Wellness/Fitness programs for Blessing Wellness Center members, as well as patients referred by Blessing Health System providers. This position will evaluate and advise fitness clients to meet personal fitness goals and address risk factors related to chronic disease as identified by Blessing Health System providers. This position will also be required to instruct group exercise classes. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: EXPERIENCE IN THE HEALTH PROMOTION/WELLNESS FIELD. MUST POSSESS ADEQUATE KNOWLEDGE OF HEALTH APPRAISAL TECHNIQUES, RISK FACTOR IDENTIFICATION, AND DEMONSTRATE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRINICIPALS OF FITNESS AND POSSESS THE ABILITY TO ASSESS DATA REFLECTIVE OF THE CLIENTS STATUS AND INTERPRET THE APPROPRIATE INFORMATION.
