POSITION: Personal TrainerDEPARTMENT: Fitness, Health, and WellnessConsistently create and deliver to clients one-on-one safe and effective exercise programs to assist members in achieving their overall health and fitness goals.
- Hourly rate for Personal Training: $30 per hour with increased rates for duo and trio training.
- Hourly rate for Floor Attendant: $10 - $12 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Must be able to also instruct Group Classes including Cycle, Pilates, and Yoga.
- Design, implement, and teach individualized and comprehensive fitness programs to clients in a variety of modalities including strength training, hypertrophy training, and cardiorespiratory training.
- Adapt fitness programs to meet the needs of members of a variety of ages and fitness levels
- Maintain a desire for continual education, enhancement of knowledge and improvement
- Maintain accurate paperwork for all clients including health information, fitness assessments, and detailed workout programs.
- Enforce rules and regulations of fitness facility, and maintain cleanliness of the facility
- Serve as a Floor Attendant when necessary to explain safe and proper use of equipment and engage with members.
- Communicate any equipment problems, member concerns or suggestions to the Head Personal Trainer.
- Maintain professional standards among clients
- These standards include punctuality, proper attire, and the creation and maintenance of a friendly, safe, and motivating training relationship.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and responsible information source to all members.
- Attend all required meetings and training for Fitness staff.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES- Thorough knowledge and understanding of fitness with the ability to accurately program in a way that addresses each individual client's needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Able to lift to 45 lbs.
- Able to stand, stoop, reach, and bend from 1 to 8 hours per day
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBS or current student in fitness related field, fitness certified for 1+ years or fitness experience for 1+ years2+ years' experience in customer serviceNational Certification with ACE, ACSM, NASM or other approved national certificationCurrent CPR/AED certificationMay not be actively employed or training within 10 miles of the Greensboro County Club
