Job Type Part-timeDescriptionGENERAL FUNCTION: To offer Personal Fitness Training to members of the YMCA or any of the community businesses that the YMCA services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts fitness training to members on a personal basis.
- Shares responsibility for ensuring the safety of participants and employees at all times.
- Addresses members' questions and needs when necessary and resolves problems in their behalf.
- Pays attention to the activity within the fitness room while conducting personal training.
- Performs Fitness Instructor duties within the fitness room as needed.

- Certification in Adult CPR required.
- Certification as a Personal Trainer required.
- Certification in Principles of YMCA Health and Fitness strongly desired.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to interact well with all levels of staff and management.
