In search of Personal TrainersPosition SummaryThis position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Interacts with new and existing members by providing specific individualized programs designed to meet his/her fitness needs and goals. Creates a welcoming environment for all members of all backgrounds and abilities.Rate of Pay$15 - $20/hourQualificationsFour year degree in Exercise Science or related field and/or certification from a nationally recognized accreditation agency.CPR/AED certifications.Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.YMCA/ACE Foundations of Strength & Conditioning within 60 days of hiring.ResponsibilitiesMaintains well-documented, accurate and pertinent information on each client.Follows through in a timely manner on initial communication with client.Designs, maintains, and adjusts individual programs specific to the client's needs and wants in accordance with National YMCA guidelines.Serves as a good role model by maintaining or improving their own personal fitness level.Supports Y programs, promotions, and events.Deals with each situation by using the YMCA Character Values.Develops and maintains community collaborations.Knows and abides by Y policies and procedures.#J-18808-Ljbffr
