Anytime Fitness is currently seeking qualified personal trainers who can deliver a fantastic workout experience to our clients. This position requires a strong ability to educate members and potential members about personal training services we offer, manage time, coach, and motivate multiple clients in a group setting and 1:1 setting. An Anytime Fitness Personal Trainer must focus on a well-rounded understanding of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the tools given to optimize clients' experience and results.Be a part of a great TEAM with a fun and motivating work environment!Important: If you are uncomfortable with sales, talking to people, or motivating others, this is not the position or industry for you.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of 4+ membersProgram and implement individualized workouts for membersEnergize and motivate members throughout the sessionsBuild fitness attendance and retain current members/clientsComplete fitness evaluations/consultations on all new members and training clientsPrescribe and sell personal training packagesEnsure safety of participants utilizing heart rate and exercise techniquesProvide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levelsAttend weekly/monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentationsSupport manager in membership sales and handle member concernsSupport manager and cleaning staff in maintaining club cleanliness and overall operations of the gymMaintain all personal training clients' and prospects' information by tracking, uploading, and updating progress in Club-OS daily to better service their needsFollow up with personal training prospects, obtain referrals/leads from current members and prospectsAchieve monthly sales, lead/referral, and fitness consultation goalsCreate a positive club culture by developing relationships with members, providing educational training/eventsPromote club culture and the club by using social media (the ability to market and post on Facebook, Instagram, etc.)Provide exceptional member service on all levelsBe a team player JOB QUALIFICATIONS Have a strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanicsMust have a fitness certification/personal trainer certification from an AF fitness approved education company such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, etc.Bachelor's degree in an exercise related field is preferred but not mandatoryCurrent CPR/AED CertificationAbility to multi-task and stay organizedPositive and effective interpersonal communication skillsDesire and capacity to train all fitness levelsMust be willing to complete sales training and ongoing sales training1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industryExcellent communication and customer attention skillsMust be able to safely lift and move up to 50lbs and work in a gym setting REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Accredited Certification: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, etc.Current CPR/AEDPersonal training experience: 1 year preferable BENEFITS Competitive base salary ranging $32,000 - $42,000 based on experience with opportunity to earn monthly bonusesOpportunity for growth & development within the company.Health Benefits - HRA for qualified employees.Paid Time OffHoliday Pay401KTuition assistance to obtain NASM Personal Training CertificationUniforms provided, fitness casual dress codeGym membership Part Time & Full Time Positions Available - must be available morning or evenings and some Saturdays.
