Rooted in the USMC values of honor, courage, and commitment, Terrestris seeks to deliver extraordinary values to the American people by helping the Government become more efficient and effective.So, what will the Personnel Recovery (PR) Program Coordinator at Terrestris do?The Personnel Recovery (PR) Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and quality control of USAID's Personnel Recovery (PR) Training Program and other STB security training programs as assigned. Lead program development in alignment with USAID Activity Manager guidance, providing direct oversight to the PR Operations & Equipment Coordinator, PR Communications Coordinator, Senior Training Specialist, and other assigned personnel. Ensure accountability and manage personnel performance, fostering team building and motivation.What does a typical day look like for a Personnel Recovery (PR) Program Coordinator?A Personnel Recovery (PR) Program Coordinator's day is dynamic, with a mix of coordinating regular meetings to assess emerging needs, establishing procedures, and setting clear expectations. Brief USAID Activity Manager and management on program development and produce required reports to meet contractual and PR program deliverables. Provide input for annual personnel evaluations and collaborate with USAID staff for mission assessments, identifying PR, PREEMPT, and security training needs. Extensive Domestic and International travel will be required to support operational requirements.What qualifications do you look for?You might be the person we're looking for if you have:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in developing advanced, tactical training, procedures, and programs. PR program training experience is preferred but not required. (Military, first responder, or other comprehensive training experience in a government or civilian capacity may be substituted)
  • Proven instructor experience as well as the ability to train other instructors.
  • Experience in developing course curricula and training materials and aids.
  • Experience conducting practical training application and program assessment.
  • Ability to measure achievement of learning objectives and conduct program and course evaluation.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
  • Must have and maintain a valid U.S Passport.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license.Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to physically stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time and the ability to climb ladders with dexterity in both hands.
  • Must be able to lift a 50-pound item to waist height and must be able to lift a 30-pound item over the head.
  • Must have 20/20 vision with corrective lenses if necessary.
  • Must have acceptable color vision and have acceptable depth perception.
  • Must be physically able to travel to and operate in potentially dangerous, overseas environments.
  • Must be physically able to walk distances up to three miles in a variety of adverse environments while carrying a 30-pound backpack.
