Contract Description
We are currently seeking Personnel Security Specialists (Contractor) to join our team.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and complete case file packages to the government, ensuring they are ready for further adjudicative processing according to applicable handbooks and guidelines.
- Initiate and manage employees' Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) or similar systems, including ensuring fingerprint submission. Handle the receipt, review, validation, and processing of documents and case files.
- Support security audits and daily operations, including managing the reception area for access control, visitor badging, mail handling, and other office-related tasks and projects in a professional environment.
- Accurately input all required data into PERSEC Systems, handling approximately 12,000 annual case requests as estimated by DCMS-34.
- Communicate directly with SECCEN customers via phone and email.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience adjudicating personnel security background investigations to determine eligibility and suitability for federal government employment.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional documentation skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
- This role requires contractors to work onsite in Chesapeake, VA.
- A bachelor's degree is required.
