When you join us as a PET Technologist you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes. You Will: Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of PET scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and company protocols. Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care. Assist radiologists with imaging and interventional procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast if needed. Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process. Monitor patients' well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients. You Are: Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy solving complex problems To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have: Must have current ARRT(R)(N) certification or NMTCB certification State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Must have venipuncture certification/permit. BLS certification At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred #CTMD
