We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Petroleum Dispatcher to join our team and ensure the smooth and timely coordination of fuel deliveries. Job Description: As a Petroleum Dispatcher, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the delivery of petroleum products, ensuring that all logistics are handled efficiently and in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. You will work closely with drivers, customers, and suppliers to ensure fuel delivery schedules are met while optimizing operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Schedule and dispatch petroleum delivery trucks to various locations based on customer orders and delivery timelines. - Monitor fuel inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure timely and continuous supply. - Communicate with drivers to provide routing instructions and address any issues or changes in delivery schedules. - Ensure compliance with safety standards, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory levels, and driver activity. - Monitor real-time GPS tracking systems to optimize routes and reduce fuel delivery delays. - Work closely with terminal operators, refineries, and customers to ensure smooth loading, transportation, and offloading of petroleum products. - Handle emergency situations, including rerouting and driver assistance. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and managing any service interruptions. Qualifications and Requirements: - Recent experience as a Petroleum Dispatcher is required. Applicants must include recent experience in petroleum dispatching on their rsum to be considered. - Strong knowledge of the petroleum industry, including fuel types, safety protocols, and transportation regulations. - Proficiency in dispatching software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations. - Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards related to petroleum transport. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or transportation are preferred.
