Petroleum Technician Our client is a leading Environmental services company in Southern NJ. They are seeking a Technician in their Construction and Contracting division. The Technician will need to have knowledge of underground and aboveground petroleum equipment installations, repairs, and closures.Responsibilities:- Prepare construction sites each day by preparing materials, tools, and equipment- Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks- Follow all health and safety regulations and PPE requirements- Assist Foreman, Supervisors and crew workers when needed- Ensure construction equipment and tools are maintained and stored properlyJob RequirementsRequirements:- 2+ years of field experience with petroleum equipment systems- Experience on construction sites and ability to follow and demonstrate basic safety principles- Experience with piping systems, spill, overfill and secondary containment systems- Knowledge of monitoring systems, and fuel management systems- Construction OSHA 10 or OSHA HAZWOPER Certification is preferred- The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed- Valid driver s license
