- Work closely with the Outside Operations Manager in all areas of the outside operation.
- Assist the Professional Staff with tournament operations.
- Clean carts, wash clubs, and manage bag room operations.
- Provide world-class service to all members/guests.
- Establish an understanding of the merchandise operation and be involved in creating displays, receiving inventory, performing inventory counts, and following through with special orders.
- Manage the driving range operation and exceed member/guest expectations with regards to setup, cleanliness, and service.
- Enhance literacy with Golf Genius Tournament Software, MembersFirst Tee Sheet Software and Jonas POS Software.
- Expand knowledge of the USGA Rules of Golf and USGA Handicap Manual.
- Communicate effectively with members/guests daily.
- Play golf with members and guests when needed.
- Assist the Teaching Professional Staff with the junior golf program.
Qualifications
- Motivated in pursuing PGA Class A membership.
- Have an adequate understanding of current golf industry systems.
- Service-oriented with a high degree of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Manage time in a high-paced operation.
- Maintain quality appearance, good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Able to read, write, and understand English.
- Physically able to lift boxes and other heavy objects.
