Position Title: Pharmacist Liaison
Location: Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens

Position Summary: Pharmacist liaisons will serve our expanding base of patients and physicians in the New York region. From our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, we produce compounds of the highest quality, purity, and efficacy for thousands of patients throughout New York. The pharmacist liaison will join our expanding healthcare services team, which works as a cohesive unit to assure outstanding patient care and satisfaction as we fulfill our mission of improving the health of the communities we serve.
Essential Functions:
Compound representation to the physicians Team supervision Quality assurance Order fulfillment Educating physicians of the compounding capabilities Prescription verification Clinical consultation with patients and/or prescribers Assuring the pharmacy's full compliance with our Standard Operating Procedures, and FDA and state regulations. Assist in developing education and training programs, and the pharmacy s internal efforts to improve the work process and use of technologies. Will have an opportunity to work with and contribute to the efforts of our R&D team on new formulation development.
Qualifications:
Education: PharmD required, MBA preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Licensed in New York
Professional Experience: 0-1 year of experience working as a compounding pharmacist (RPh)
Specialized Skills:
Excellent knowledge of compound formulations, drug interactions, current best practices in non-sterile compounding, and software for formulation management, and production operations. Knowledge of pharmacy management systems; knowledge of Micro Merchant Systems PrimeRx is a plus Communication and collaborations skills must be outstanding Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT codes, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Demonstrated leadership and management skills in fast-paced work environments Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in non-sterile compounding, knowledge of USP 795 FDA regulations, NY State pharmacy regulations Familiarity and experience in sterile Compounding is preferred Knowledge of USP 797, FDA and NY State pharmacy regulations Familiar with USP 795/797, State and Federal Regulatory References that can attest to your ethics, professionalism, relationships with patients and physicians, and your workplace leadership skills Knowledge and skills in using the Microsoft Office software suite
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications and Digital dexterity, e.g. use of computer keyboard.
