Overview:The Pharmacist-in-Charge manages the pharmacy staff, appropriately dispenses prescribed drugs, and serves patients with the best possible pharmaceutical care.This is a full-time, clinic-based opportunity located in Beaumont, TX at TAN Healthcare (1495 N. 7th Street.)The pharmacy is open Mon. 7:30am-5pm, Tu-W-Th 9am-5pm, and Fri. 9am-3:30pm, so we are looking for a Pharmacist-in-Charge who can work during those days and times.Great Work-Life Balance! No evening or weekend shifts!!About the Role:Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, always maintaining the highest quality of pharmaceutical servicesFoster business growth and control expenses for the pharmacyEnsure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacyProperly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and suppliesCollaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptionsDirect and perform pharmacy activities and manage workflow efficiencyKeep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programsConsult with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriate to provide quality patient care and efficient operationsMaintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAAUphold a clean, customer-friendly workplace, and always project a positive attitudeMaintain a high level of professionalism consistent with company standards, including dress, personal appearance, and groomingPerform other related duties as assignedPerform in accordance with company policies and standardsEmbrace and perform in the spirit of the company's core values and goalsAbout You:Bachelor's or Doctoral (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university2+ years of full-time retail or clinic pharmacy experience preferredPharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) experience preferredPharmacist license in good standing in the State of Texas340B experience preferredAAHIVP certification preferredBilingual in Spanish preferredExcellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skillsProactive self-starter with high degree of initiative and strong follow-up skillsAble to efficiently mentor, motivate, and manage pharmacy staff while fostering positive customer relationsAble to work full-time Monday 7:30am-5pm, Tuesday through Thursday 9am-5pm, and Friday 9am-3:30pmAt Avita Care Solutions, compassionate care is at the heart of everything we do.
