A Pharmacy Clerk's primary job function is to perform various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders. Dispense any or all of the following: unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, enteral and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures. May compound medications using appropriate components, supplies and sterile/ventilated environment. Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies and patient collateral (education materials) are included.

May also perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6am-2:30pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Processing, packing, and shipping outgoing pharmacy orders
  • Warehouse duties, including proper storage of supplies
  • Sorting and loading packages
  • Restocking of supplies
  • Inventory job functions
  • Following SOPs to complete job tasks
  • Maintaining clean work areas
  • Prolonged standing, sitting, moving, packing, reaching, and squatting may be required

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, as needed
  • Ability to stand for a duration of an 8-hour work shift
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
