Summary:Inpatient Interns will perform a mixture of inpatient pharmacy technician operations and clinical intern tasks throughout their time with UCH. Candidates should excel in critical thinking, adapt to fast-paced settings, and maintain good standing with their School of Pharmacy.On clinical shifts, Intern Pharmacists work alongside a Clinical Pharmacist within a multidisciplinary team to assist in the care of admitted inpatients. Interns will experience multiple practice areas including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Adult ICUs, Transplant Medicine, Surgery Specialties, etc. Intern Pharmacists gain hands-on exposure in a dynamic academic hospital setting. This role provides the chance to complete projects tailored to your interests, deepening your knowledge and broadening your career opportunities. Training begins at the end of P1 year and extends with required summer shift hours. - Enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy and in good standing.
