The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, and providing exceptional patient care.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise daily operations of the pharmacy department, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting.- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including maintaining accurate records and overseeing controlled substances.- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient care.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.- Train and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to best practices.- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and incorporate new technologies and processes into the pharmacy department.- Handle any patient or staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.- Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements.- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.- Current pharmacist license in the state of Texas.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations and best practices in pharmacy operations.- Excellent communication and leadership skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.- Proficient in Microsoft Office and pharmacy management software.If you are a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Manager looking to join a dynamic and growing healthcare company, we encourage you to apply for this position.
