Our position is Full-Time and works 10-hr evening shifts. Become a life-changer in medicine today!\n\nAssist with the preparation, filling, and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.\nEnsure safe and secure storage of all medications in accordance with Department of Health, The Joint Commission, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.\nDemonstrate a professional service orientation in all interactions, fostering positive relationships with patients and staff.\nUtilize computer skills to accurately process and document information relevant to pharmacy operations.\nCommunicate effectively with hospital personnel, patients, and visitors, referring drug information inquiries to Staff Pharmacists as needed.\nMaintain all required documentation and records relevant to the designated area of expertise.\nParticipate in training fellow staff members to enhance skills and knowledge within the department.\nDevelop and uphold a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment to support efficient pharmacy operations.\n\n Qualifications:\n\nCompletion of high school diploma or equivalent OR completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program\n\n AND one of the following: \n\nTwo years of previous pharmacy technician experience\nEnrollment in good standing as a pharmacy student\nDemonstrated competency in all detailed aspects of the Pharmacy Operations Specialists DESIGNATED area which includes (Inventory Control, Chemotherapy, Medication Safety, Automation, Information Technology..etc)\n\n Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:N/AUPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
