**Description:**

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Pharmacy Purchasing Technician to join our pharmacy team!

**Shift:**

Full Time, Rotating shifts. Per department needs.

**Summary**

+ Facilitates purchasing of pharmaceuticals and departmental supplies.

+ Functions as the 340B Discount Drug program coordinator.

+ Ensures that all necessary supplies, materials and services are supplied to the Pharmacy when needed.

+ Responsible for updating and maintaining the Pharmacy inventory.

+ Assists Pharmacy Management with monitoring and responding to changes in budgets, utilization, contracts and potential problems.

+ When needed, performs the duties of a Pharmacy Technician.

**Requirements:**

+ High School Diploma and Strong mathematical skills and basic computer skills

+ PTCB National Certification

+ Experience in computerized pharmaceutical management systems

+ Working knowledge in Excel or equivalent spreadsheet applications

+ Two or three years direct purchasing/contracting experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
