Pharmacy Solutions Data Manager
Reports to: VP of Marketing
Classification: Exempt
Location: Remote / Full-time Contract
Summary
The PharmacySolutions Data Manager is a pharmacist who will play an important role in the operation and management of Trilogy MedWaste's proprietary formulary management tool, BirdsEye Technologies. This individual will be responsible for overseeing, operating, and evolving the company's pharmaceutical/formulary data sources and systems used to classify appropriate disposal requirements for pharmaceuticals.

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities
* Oversee Trilogy MedWaste's proprietary pharmaceutical/formulary datasets, including but not limited to: disposal compliance regulations at federal (FDA, DEA, etc.) and state levels, formulary definitions as developed by drug manufacturers, and environmental handling requirements.
* Evaluate, maintain, and update proprietary datasets to evolve with changes to said data resources.
* Remain up-to-date with all applicable certifications needed, as well as FDA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
* Develop defined process to conduct regular audits of the proprietary datasets; make updates to the datasets as required; and develop regularly cadenced reports that highlight the updates made to the datasets
* Provide pharmaceutical recommendations to customers of Trilogy MedWaste, including reviewing and comparing customer datasets against Trilogy MedWaste's proprietary pharmaceutical datasets and confirming proper disposal methods
* Collaborate with the Trilogy MedWaste Sales and Customer Service teams to serve customers and ensure customer pharmaceutical disposal methods comply with FDA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
* Engage with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to members of the management, sales, and customer services teams, and external stakeholders, including customers and partners, who may have questions related to Trilogy MedWaste's proprietary formulary management tool, BirdsEye Technologies
* Provide recommendations on expanding Trilogy MedWaste's existing data structure and customer access tools to provide additional analytics and solutions for customers, including considering data integration/API capabilities, improved customer access, and developing reports and alerts
Qualifications & Skills
* Clinical pharmacist with a minimum of two years of experience operating as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
* Must be proficient in understanding formularies and proper pharmaceutical handling, including pharmaceutical regulations (e.g. handling/storage of specific drug classes)
* Ability to determine the appropriate disposal methodology for individual pharmaceutical products and has knowledge of pharmaceutical disposal regulation
* Must have strong analytical and data management capabilities, and can apply pharmaceutical knowledge-based to meet broad data management objectives
* Experienced in managing large datasets and improving data management processes across complex systems, including navigating records systems and using Excel
* Demonstrate proven experience with cloud platforms and data management software such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), or similar cloud-based platforms and data management systems, to support pharmaceutical data analytics, storage, and security
* Candidate is a driven and accountable professional with strong leadership qualities
* Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school; valid and active state pharmacist license, including successful completion of the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX)); board certification in a relevant specialty preferred (e.g., BCPS, BCACP)
* Undergraduate degree (or extensive experience) in data science, data management, data analytics, information technology, computer engineering, or similar

Travel
* Travel domestically when necessary (less than 10%)
* Must have a current, valid driver's license
