Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Inpatient Pharmacy team!
The Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products and associated functions, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Performs multiple technician job duties of the Pharmacy Department including clean room, cart fill, repackaging, inventory, automated dispensing cabinet, outpatient, first dose, clerical area, chemotherapy preparation, and carousel.
HOURS: Full Time or 0.9 FTE, 72 hours each pay period. Day shift.
M-F 0700 TO 1530 OR 0800 TO 1630. Every 5-6th weekend and 1-2 holidays per year.
Experience/Qualifications
* Knowledge of organizational and project management practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience in a health-related field, pharmacy, and computers beneficial.
* National Pharmacy Technician Certification beneficial.
* Must apply to be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of WI by start date.
