Pharmacy Technician - Archbold Brooks Position Description: Fill employee prescriptions and physician orders for pharmacist review Utilize the order imaging system appropriately and accurately input patient orders Deliver medications to nursing units and exchange carts in a timely manner Submit filing information accurately and in a timely manner Receive, price, and stock drug orders and store appropriately Verify invoice receipts for accuracy Routinely check for drug expirations of regular pharmacy stock, floor stock, and cabinets Check and record quality assurance information (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, unit check visits, flow hood cleaning, etc.) Answer phone and emails promptly and courteously # Experience/Qualifications: Completion of pharmacy program preferred Certification preferred but mandatory after 1st year of employment Two years of experience as pharmacy tech preferred # Perks/Benefits: (for eligible employees): Have optimal opportunity for career growth within our growing organization Medical / Dental Retirement Plan PTO and paid life insurance## # What Sets Us Apart Archbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, four-nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds.
