We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Precision Medications Specialist to join our team.Position Summary: As a Phamacy Technician, you will play a critical role in our mission to personalize patient care by optimizing medication therapy. You will work closely with our pharmacists, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure that medications are customized to meet individual patient requirements. Your attention to detail, empathy, and pharmaceutical expertise will be essential in helping patients achieve optimal health outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Review and Personalization: Conduct thorough medication reviews for patients, considering their medical history, allergies, and individual needs. Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to tailor medication regimens for each patient.
  • Medication Therapy Management: Monitor patients' responses to medications and provide recommendations for adjustments or alternatives to ensure the best possible therapeutic outcomes.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on their medication regimens, including dosage, administration, and potential side effects, to empower them in managing their health effectively.
  • Compounding and Specialty Medications: Prepare specialized medications, including compounding and customized formulations, to meet specific patient requirements.
  • Medication Adherence: Assess and support patient medication adherence through counseling, reminders, and follow-up calls.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory, ensuring the availability of necessary medications and supplies.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous quality and safety standards in medication preparation and dispensing, complying with all regulatory requirements.
  • Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
    • State licensure as a Pharmacy Technician.
    • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical principles and practices.
    • Ability to adapt to new technologies and pharmacy software.
    • Compassion and empathy in dealing with patients' diverse needs.
