POSITION OVERVIEW
The Pharmacy Technician at RVL Pharmacy helps patients access UPNEEQ, a first-in class therapy, through best-in-class. This position is our fast-growing, closed-door pharmacy and requires managing a high volume or inbound and outbound calls to assist patients with their orders. The Pharmacy Technician is also responsible for accurate data entry, prescription preparation, and providing support to the Pharmacy team in all necessary activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and physicians
* Collaborate effectively with the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician teams
* Manage a high volume of calls to and from patients and health care providers
* Champion patient privacy and handle all patient data according to HIPAA Guidelines
* Create and maintain accurate patient, physician, and prescription records
* Follow all applicable NJ Board of Pharmacy regulations and RVL Pharmacy and corporate policies
* Identify and report adverse events according to company standard operating procedures
* Perform other duties as required
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or GED equivalent (required)
* Valid NJ Pharmacy Technician License at time of hire or within six months of hire (required)
* Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong focus on quality and customer service
* Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and met set timelines
