The role requires maintaining complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials and transferring all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria-based prior authorization process.
- Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials.
- Transfer all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.
Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year experience required in a customer service position with high-volume call center experience, preferably in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position.
- The Pharmacy Technician certification is MUST
Education:
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
- The Pharmacy Technician certification MUST
Work Schedule:
- Assigned shifts vary from 7 AM to 8 PM CT.
- Training hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM CT.
