Job Summary
* Pharmacy Technician assists in drug preparation, storage, distribution and inventory management within a variety of pharmacy environments.
* Technician works under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
* This position requires that the applicant is PTCB-certified and will become registered with the state's Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Education and/or Experience
* High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
* Associates degree preferred.
* 0-6 months of relevant experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
* Certified Pharmacy Technician Board-Certified required.
* Ability to become registered with respective state's Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire is required.
Work Schedule
* Varied shifts as needed; PRN
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
* $18.50 - $25.75 per hour
