Education:
A high school diploma or GED
Requirements:
* 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred
Responsibilities:
* Performs venipuncture, heel sticks, and finger sticks to obtain blood samples for testing purposes.
* Properly identifies patients and follows procedures for collection of specimens. Processes and receives specimens into the laboratory, following laboratory protocol for specimen acceptability and rejection.
* Assists with clerical duties and processing as needed. Performs other related functions as assigned.
