Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.ResponsibilitiesThe Phlebotomist functions as a laboratory professional who performs specimen collection techniques or specimen collection instructions that include; venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection instruction and specimen culture collection instruction.QualificationsJob Requirements:High School Diploma or EquivalentCompletion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experiencePreferred Job Requirements:National phlebotomy certificationExperience working in the clinical setting.
