Specimens include blood, body fluid and cultures.Significant Duties: Perform venipunctures using various techniques. Perform capillary collections. Obtain culture specimens from various sources. Instruct patients on proper collection of off-site specimens. Research specimen requirements for referred tests. Inventory and requisition phlebotomy supplies. Print patient billing information. Attend and actively participate in department meetings.
