Requirements:Must be U.S. Citizen.A current certification and registration as a Phlebotomy Technician from the American Society ofClinical Pathology (PBT-ASCP);ORA current certification and registration as a Registered Phlebotomy Technician from the American Medical Laboratory Technologists (RPT-AMT).A minimum of 1 year full-time experience within the last 3 years as a Phlebotomist.Duties:Perform phlebotomy-related administrative and clerical procedures of the front desk section of the lab, fully document all samples obtained per the laboratory's standard operating procedures, and assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the front desk and phlebotomy area.Start date:
  • As soon as possible pending Federal Security Clearance process completion (typically 4-6 weeks after initiation)
Schedule:Services shall be provided Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0600 and 1700, and on Saturday and holidays between the hours of 0730 and 1230 hours. Shifts willnormally be scheduled for an 8.5 to 9 hour period, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break, respectively. In no instance will the HCW be required to provide services in excess of 80 hours per two-week period. All shifts and weekend services may be rotated with other Phlebotomists. It is anticipated that the HCW will be expected to provide services every other weekend and work no more than 5 federal holidays. If a HCW works a weekend and/or holiday shift, the schedule will be adjusted in the same 2-week period to avoid exceeding 80 hours in a 2-week period.Ability to commute:
  • Reliably transportation required and expected for commute to and from work site.
Experience:A minimum of 1 year full-time experience within the last 3 years as a PhlebotomistLicense(s) / Certification(s):A current certification and registration as a Phlebotomy Technician from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (PBT-ASCP);ORA current certification and registration as a Registered Phlebotomy Technician from the American Medical Laboratory Technologists (RPT-AMT).Provizor Federal, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
