Ghost RX is currently interviewing Phlebotomist for coverage at the Indian Health Services in Whiteriver, AZ.* Day shift 5: 00 am - 1:00 pm M-F*Required** 1 year of experience* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification* Certified in Phlebotomy*Job Duties** Performs blood collection requiring knowledge of clinical science to understand the multiplicity of tests and specimen requirements, the mechanics of venipuncture and patient preparation.* Performs phlebotomy to obtain patient specimens for laboratory testing including blood cultures and compatibility samples.* Accession and receive samples into VA laboratory information system package.* Instructs patients in proper collection of 24-hour urine and other samples collected at home.Job Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Disability insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid sick time* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayLicense/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* Phlebotomy certification (Required)Work Location: In person
