Our client is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join their team. As a PSR II, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring accurate specimen collection.Key Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, explain procedures clearly, and create a comfortable and trusting environment. Specimen Collection: Draw blood samples accurately and efficiently, following established protocols. Data Verification: Verify patient demographic information and ensure accurate labeling of specimens. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation. Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Strong customer service skills. Proficiency in keyboard/data entry. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to change and work in a dynamic environment.
